A Simple Task to Restore Your Fish Runs and Catch more Fish

fish

How’s it going today?  I have been out of the loop recently but wanted to send a quick message as I’m on the verge of getting on the river for some fishing this week.

I also want to talk about one big thing you can do to help your favorite fish runs survive and ultimately make fishing better for you and your family/friends in the longer term.

Before I get into it I wanted to shoot a short update.  The fly tying mentor is still a big goal for me so I will be putting more energy into it as we move throughout the year.

You can check it out here:

The Fly Tying Mentor

The first month is completely FREE.  No strings attached.  I’m just trying to get more interested tyers in the door so I can get more feedback on the ultimate direction for most new tyers.

Have you been fishing lately?  Click here and let me know what part of the country you are in.

Ok, back to the restoration action and easy task to make sure there are more fish around for you and your family.

It’s very simple – Find a local watershed council and get involved.  If you don’t have a local watershed council then find the nearest group who is involved in fish enhancement work.

This might be your state fish and wildlife department.  Call them and find out what groups are nearby or if there is anything you can do to help out.

This is your call to action this month.  Take 30 minutes to research a local group and go to a meeting and find out more what’s going on in your watershed.

Now, time to get on the river!
