We’re excited to have you joining us for the 2026 Fly Fishing Bootcamp and to bring together a great group of instructors, guides, authors, anglers, and educators for four days of trout fishing education.
The Fly Fishing Bootcamp for Trout Anglers is a free 4-day online event happening October 30–November 2, 2026. We’re bringing together 20+ fly fishing experts to help trout anglers improve the skills that matter on the water from casting and presentation to dry flies, nymphing, streamers, wet flies, Trout Spey, reading water, fly tying, and more.
Our goal is to give anglers practical information they can use on their next day of fishing while also introducing them to the people, businesses, books, courses, products, and resources behind each presentation.
On this page, you’ll find everything you need as a Bootcamp speaker, including important dates, presentation details, promotional resources, swipe copy, graphics, affiliate information, and answers to common questions. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to participate and promote the event.
We know you’re giving your time, experience, and knowledge to make this Bootcamp possible, and we appreciate it. We want this event to be valuable for you too whether that means reaching new anglers, growing your email list or audience, sharing your work, or earning affiliate commissions through the All-Access Pass.
Thanks for being part of the 2026 Fly Fishing Bootcamp. We’re excited to have you with us.
The Fly Fishing Bootcamp will run October 30 - November 2, 2026. Over four days, attendees will learn from 20+ fly fishing experts covering everything from casting and presentation to dry flies, nymphing, streamers, wet flies, Trout Spey, reading water, fly tying, and more.
We’ll have a combination of featured presentations and live sessions throughout the four days. Depending on your session, you may also have an opportunity to answer questions, interact with attendees, and share additional resources related to what you teach.
We want attendees to have a way to continue learning from you after your presentation. Speakers are encouraged to provide a free resource or bonus connected to their topic. This could be a PDF, video, guide, fly pattern collection, checklist, training resource, discount, or something else that gives anglers a useful next step and introduces them to more of your work.
Leading up to the Bootcamp, we’ll be promoting the event heavily to the Wet Fly Swing podcast audience and throughout the fly fishing community.
We’ll provide ready-to-use email swipe copy, social media copy, graphics, and your personal affiliate link to make promotion as easy as possible.
We ask each speaker to help spread the word about the free Bootcamp registration to their audience. Your affiliate link tracks anyone who registers through you, and if they purchase the All-Access Pass, you’ll receive a 50% affiliate commission.
The more you share the Bootcamp, the more anglers we can bring into the event and the more opportunity you have to get your presentation, resources, and work in front of new people.
Throughout the promotion period and during the Bootcamp, we’ll also offer attendees the opportunity to purchase the Fly Fishing Bootcamp All-Access Pass.
The All-Access Pass gives anglers extended access to all of the Bootcamp presentations, along with a growing collection of speaker bonuses and additional resources.
These bonuses are an important part of the All-Access experience. We’ll feature the resources contributed by our speakers and make them available alongside the presentations as they go live.
Our goal is simple: create a great learning experience for trout anglers while making participation worthwhile for every speaker involved. You get to share what you do with a larger audience, introduce anglers to your work, grow your reach, and earn 50% commissions when people you refer purchase the All-Access Pass.
This all sounds great, but what do we need from you? Here’s what we’re asking from each speaker.
Our goal is to make everything as easy as possible while putting together a valuable event for trout anglers and a great experience for everyone involved.
First, we’ll gather some basic information from you so we can finalize the Bootcamp registration page and build out your speaker profile.
Once you let us know you’re in, we’ll send you a simple form where you can upload everything we need, including your bio, headshot, presentation information, website, and other important links.
Next is your presentation.
Your session should give trout anglers something useful they can take away and apply to their own fishing. We want these presentations to be focused on teaching, rather than feeling like a sales pitch.
Depending on your session, your presentation may be live or pre-recorded.
You’re welcome to use the presentation format that works best for you and your topic:
Your presentation should include useful, actionable information. A simple format could be:
You don’t need an elaborate production. We care much more about good information and clear instruction than fancy editing or equipment.
Above all, we want attendees to finish your presentation feeling like they learned something they can use the next time they go fishing.
The Fly Fishing Bootcamp All-Access Pass will include a collection of additional resources from our speakers to go along with the presentations. To make the All-Access Pass even more valuable, we encourage you to contribute a bonus related to your presentation or area of expertise.
This could include things like:
You do not need to create something huge or complicated. A focused resource that helps anglers take the next step after watching your presentation can make a great bonus.
Your bonus will be included as part of the All-Access Pass and featured alongside your presentation. Speaker bonuses will become available as each speaker’s presentation goes live during the Bootcamp.
This is also a great opportunity to introduce attendees to more of your work. Where appropriate, your bonus can include information about your website, email list, guide service, lodge, books, courses, products, or other resources.
We’d love to get your bonus information as early as possible so we can have everything ready before the Bootcamp begins.
The goal is simple: give attendees another useful resource they can put to work after your presentation while giving them an easy way to continue learning from you.
A big part of what makes the Fly Fishing Bootcamp for Trout Anglers work is having 20+ speakers come together and help spread the word. When everyone shares the event with their audience, we can reach far more fly anglers than any of us could on our own.
To help make the Bootcamp successful for everyone, we ask each speaker to send at least one email to their audience and share the event at least once on social media during the promotion period.
Be sure to use your personal affiliate link when you promote the Bootcamp. Your link sends anglers to the FREE Bootcamp registration page, so you aren't asking your audience to purchase anything.
If someone registers through your link and later purchases the All-Access Pass, you'll earn a 50% commission on the sale.
We’ll make promotion as easy as possible. You’ll have access to ready-to-use email swipe copy, social media copy, graphics, and other promotional resources that you can use or customize for your audience.
The more of us who share the Bootcamp, the more trout anglers we can bring into the event and the more exposure each speaker receives.
Once the Bootcamp begins, we want your participation to be simple.
The Fly Fishing Bootcamp runs October 30–November 2, and we'll handle the event logistics, presentation pages, attendee communication, and access to the sessions.
If your presentation is live, we'll coordinate the time with you and you'll have the opportunity to teach and interact directly with attendees.
If your presentation is pre-recorded, we simply ask that you check in when your presentation goes live if you're available. You can answer questions, interact with anglers, and join the conversation around your session.
That's it. We want you to be involved and connect with attendees without feeling like you need to spend four days sitting in front of your computer.
One of the big benefits of bringing 20+ fly fishing experts together is the opportunity for all of us to reach new anglers. And if you help us spread the word, we want you to be able to earn some extra income along the way.
That’s why we’ve set up an affiliate program for the Fly Fishing Bootcamp for Trout Anglers.
You are not asking your audience to purchase anything when you promote the Bootcamp. You’re inviting them to register for a free 4-day online fly fishing event.
During registration and throughout the Bootcamp, attendees will have the opportunity to upgrade to the All-Access Pass for $50.
The All-Access Pass includes:
Speaker bonuses will be released as each presentation goes live during the Bootcamp.
We’ll provide everything you need to promote the event, including:
You’re also welcome to create your own emails, posts, videos, or other promotions that fit your audience.
Just remember to use your personal affiliate link whenever you share the Bootcamp so we can properly track your referrals and commissions.
As with any affiliate promotion, please disclose to your audience that you are an affiliate when sharing your link.
